# getSecretKey()

Retrieves a machine secret key by its ID.

function getSecretKey(machineId: string): Promise<MachineSecretKey>
```

## Parameters

| Name      | Type   | Description                                                 |
| --------- | ------ | ----------------------------------------------------------- |
| machineId | string | The ID of the machine for which to retrieve the secret key. |
