# useOrganizationCreationDefaults()

The `useOrganizationCreationDefaults()` hook retrieves the organization creation defaults for the current user. This includes a suggested organization name based on your application's [default naming rules](https://clerk.com/docs/guides/organizations/configure.md?sdk=expo#default-naming-rules), and an advisory if an organization with that name or domain already exists.

## Parameters

`useOrganizationCreationDefaults()` accepts a single object with the following optional properties:

| <a id="enabled"></a> `enabled?`                   | `boolean` | If `true`, a request will be triggered when the hook is mounted. Defaults to `true`.                |
| <a id="keeppreviousdata"></a> `keepPreviousData?` | `boolean` | If true, the previous data will be kept in the cache until new data is fetched. Defaults to `true`. |

The following example demonstrates how to use the `useOrganizationCreationDefaults()` hook to pre-populate an organization creation form with suggested values.

### Display advisory warnings

The following example demonstrates how to use the `advisory` property to display a warning when an organization with the suggested name or domain already exists.
