Organization profile

The organization profile page in the Clerk Dashboard gives you a detailed view of an individual organization's settings, membership, activity, and data. To access an organization's profile, navigate to the Organizations page and select an organization.

Member activity

The member activity section displays a heatmap of the organization's session activity throughout the current year. Each cell represents a day, with intensity determined by the percentage of members who were active that day. You can hover over a cell to see the exact percentage of members active on any given day. This makes it easy to assess overall team engagement, spot potential churn signals, or confirm that an organization was active during a given period.

Organization details

The organization profile surfaces the organization's information, including:

  • Organization name
  • Verified domains
  • Custom metadata (public and private metadata attached to the organization)

Members

The members section lists every member of the organization along with their role. You can manage membership directly from this section, including updating roles or removing members. For more information on organization roles and permissions, see the Roles and permissions guide.

Billing

Warning

Billing is currently in Beta and its APIs are experimental and may undergo breaking changes. To mitigate potential disruptions, we recommend pinning your SDK and clerk-js package versions.

If your application uses Clerk Billing, the organization profile includes a Billing tab showing the organization's subscription activity, statements, and payments. The following financial metrics are also surfaced on the organization profile:

  • MRR - The organization's current monthly recurring revenue contribution.
  • Lifetime revenue - The total amount of money the organization has paid over their lifetime.
  • LTV - Lifetime value, the estimated value of this organization calculated as average MRR divided by churn rate.
