Monitoring and decision logs

Clerk Protect records every block and challenge, so you can see what it's doing for your application: which sign-up or sign-in was affected, what action was taken, and a reference for the decision.

Protect events in Application Logs

When Protect blocks or challenges a sign-up or a sign-in, the decision appears in Application Logs in the Clerk Dashboard, alongside your other application events. See the Protect events for the full list. How long decisions are retained depends on your plan — see Protect plans.

Decision details

Each event shows the action Protect took, challenge or block, the sign-up or sign-in it applied to, and a reference you can quote to Clerk support if you need help with a decision.
